After the session was completed, the target was revealed as the Salt Beds of Hanapepe on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Located at Salt Pond Beach Park on Kauai's western shore, these traditional Hawaiian salt beds have been operated by local families for generations, preserving one of Hawaii's oldest cultural practices. Each family maintains its own designated section of the salt flats, with harvesting rights passed down through generations.

The salt is produced through a natural evaporation process in shallow ponds, where seawater is exposed to the sun until salt crystals form. Harvesting typically takes place during the dry summer months, with the quality and quantity of the salt depending on weather conditions, ocean tides, and other natural factors. Hawaiian sea salt, or Pā‘akai, is highly valued for cooking, food preservation, and as a traditional cultural gift.
